B-decays at Large tanβ as a Probe of SUSY Breaking
نویسنده
چکیده
We consider Bs → μ+μ− and the muon (g − 2)μ in various SUSY breaking mediation mechanisms. If the decay Bs → μ+μ− is observed at Tevatron Run II with a branching ratio larger than ∼ 2 × 10−8, the noscale supergravity (including the gaugino mediation), the gauge mediation scenario with small number of messenger fields and low messenger scale, and a class of anomaly mediation scenarios will be excluded, even if they can accommodate a large muon (g−2)μ. On the other hand, the minimal supergravity scenario and similar mechanisms derived from string models can accommodate this observation.

Recent progress on supersymmetric effects in rare K decays
The dominant MSSM effects in the rare K decays K+ → π+νν̄ , KL → π0νν̄ , KL → π0e+e− and KL → π0μ+μ−, are discussed both within and without the minimal flavor violation hypothesis, at moderate and large tanβ . In each case, the sensitivities to MSSM soft-breaking terms are compared, laying emphasis on possible correlations among observables. In most scenarios, rare K decays offer unique windows i...
متن کاملViolation Effects on B 0 s , d → l + l − in Supersymmetry at Large tan β
An analytic analysis of the CP violating effects arising from the soft SUSY breaking parameters on the decays B s,d → ll at large tanβ is given. It is found that the phases have a strong effect on the branching ratio and in some regions of the parameter space they can lead to a variation of the branching ratio by as much as 1-2 orders of magnitude. These results have important implications for ...
متن کاملFlavor changing neutral current processes and the muon anomalous magnetic moment in the supergravity model
Flavor changing neutral current processes in B and K decays in the supergravity model are revisited taking into account the recent progress of Higgs boson search experiments at LEP. Possible deviations of B–B 0 mixing, the CP violating K–K 0 mixing parameter ǫK from the standard model predictions are reduced significantly in a small tanβ region due to the constraints on the SUSY parameter space...
متن کاملPhenomenological Constraints on SUSY SU(5) GUTs with Non-universal Gaugino Masses
Supersymmetric gauge field theories are among the most promising models for physics beyond the standard model. The low-energy supersymmetry (SUSY) solves the so-called hierarchy problem, which basically follows from the tremendous scale differences in realistic models including gravity. After SUSY breaking, SUSY models, e.g. the minimal supersymmetric standard model (MSSM) have over hundred fre...
متن کاملQuasi-Degenerate Neutrinos and Lepton Flavor Violation in Supersymmetric Models
In supersymmetric (SUSY) models the misalignment between fermion and sfermion families introduces unsuppressed flavor-changing processes. Even if the mass parameters are chosen to give no flavor violation, family dependent radiative corrections make this adjustment not stable. We analyze the rate of l → lγ in SUSY-GUT models with three quasi-degenerate neutrinos and universal scalar masses at t...
